Alison is the Trust's Governance Operations Manager and Data Protection Officer. She is also Personal Assistant to Elizabeth Horne CBE, CEO.
Alison worked as a Governance Officer for a Local Authority for 11 years and has a wide range of experience working with maintained schools and academies, both in the mainstream and special sectors. She joined Horizons Specialist Academy Trust in June 2013.
Alison is part of the Trust's central services function, focusing on Trust governance and compliance, as well as her role as Personal Assistant to the CEO, Elizabeth Horne CBE.
Professional certification includes being a GASQ General Data Protection Regulation Practitioner and successful completion of the National College for Teaching & Learning ‘Clerks to Governing Bodies Training Programme’.
