The quality of musical achievements at Abbey Hill go from strength to strength.

Thanks to students for their continued commitment!
TGI Wednesday options have been changed this year to allow for the Abbey Hill Choir to develop and to become truly inclusive. Students can still take singing as an option on a Wednesday afternoon, where they can learn to sing with others as well as have the freedom to develop their skills as a soloist. Full Choir rehearsals have been running every Thursday lunchtime. As a result numbers are up to an impressive 30 students and continue to grow. Students have really done themselves proud in preparation for the Christmas concert, rehearsing with enthusiasm every day in the final week. A representative group have recently performed at the Tax Office raising an impressive £245.00 which will go directly towards their reward fund. New members are always welcome!
Rock School has also come to TGI Wednesdays where students can get involved in learning to play Drums, Guitar and Bass. This option is led by our very own Rock God Wayne Senior who is always looking for budding musicians to learn to play our new shipment of Electric instruments.
In lessons, students have been working on developing their musical skills in a “Queen” project and are becoming more and more confident. Keep it up everyone, it’s really impressive and pleasing to hear and see!
