Hollis Academy students go international
4th July 2017
Hollis Academy pupils received certificates and prizes acknowledging their participation in the 19th International Exchange Exhibition of Children’s Art 2016 in Japan. We are honoured to be the only British school to be invited to submit work.
Their artwork, based on this year’s theme of ’Friendship’, was exhibited along with 1,075 other artworks from 40 cities in 21 nations around the world in the ‘Skytown Gallery’ Narita city; the inspirational exhibition then tours all the primary schools in Japan.
Congratulations to our international artists for contributing to this prestigious world art exhibition which aims to foster the dreams and creativity of children and to deepen our understanding of cultures and lifestyles around the world.
