One of our alternative curriculum options is gardening. This half term the students have been thinking about the importance of taking pride in our school and keeping it tidy. We have cleaned up the gardens and started some planting. Students have learned about the tools needed and how to use them safely. Teaching students skills for life that have a real life context.
Next half term we are expanding our Gardening sessions and will be offering our new skills to the local community. We believe it is important to share our learning, offer help and look after our local community. Stay tuned for an update!
