Christmas wishes to parents and carers from the CEO of HSAT
17th December 2018
Dear Parents and Carers
It’s almost Christmas!
Buying and wrapping presents, sending Christmas cards, shopping for seasonal treats – it’s almost impossible to avoid the demands the festive season makes on us all.
Most children see Christmas differently - as an exciting time with its own activities and experiences. The older ones, of course, are just a bit more cynical and street-wise – as every parent faced with demands for the “must have” present knows well! Whatever their view, all our students in the Trust have had a number of Christmas activities and experiences which, hopefully, have given them both pleasure and excitement. I know that our staff go to great lengths and do so much to ensure that this is the case. Those of you who follow us on Twitter will already be well aware of the many Christmas activities: Christmas jumper days, enterprise days, pantomime attendance, carol singing in the community and in care homes, preparing for, and performing, in Christmas concerts and enjoying Christmas lunches in school.
To you and yours, my warmest best wishes for a Christmas holiday period which brings you joy and peace – preferably with some rest thrown in! And, of course, a Happy New Year to you all.
