Abbey Hill election 2015

10th May 2015

The four houses Whitby, Redcar, Saltburn and Durham used their house colours to represent the Conservatives, Labour, Liberal Democrats and Green Party respectively.

Each house held their own election to nominate candidates and draw together their election manifestos of ideas which could contribute towards the student experience at school. Students voted in assembly on Thursday 5th May with the results counted over the next few hours. The results were revealed to the whole school the following day in assembly.

A late change in the candidates representing Saltburn house proved to be very successful as Ashton and Madison McAlpine of 6AP gained the most votes to win the election.  Congratulations to all candidates for thinking about how they could contribute to school life and representing their house.
